Aerial Photos

Well, now that I have had my drone for a couple of weeks I am learning more about it’s capabilities. I can shoot 12mp images in RAW format and I can bracket my images in a 3, 5, or 7 shot range. I have experimented some with 5 exposures because that is what I use when I bracket with my Canon EOS 6D. I must say I am happy with the results. I don’t use HDR to make “surreal” images, but I do like it for getting detail in the darker areas of photos. That being said; I think because I am flying high above my subject matter and have only 12mp to work with, I am not sure that there is really any benefit to bracketing other than having different exposures to choose from. I will continue to experiment but at this point I think having one good exposure is just as good as HDR merge with 5 from the drone.

Thank you. The photo you shared that you shot in Peru is an excellent shot.
