Well, I have finally done it. I have invested in a drone for video and photography. After much internet research I have decided upon the DJI Phantom 4. It shoots 4K video and shoots stills at 12 megapixels. I can shoot the stills in RAW format, too; which is important to me. All of the online reviews and YouTube videos show the image quality to be excellent and the flying stability to be awesome.
My first drone video:
